Bambi

Bambi can be used as a coffee table or a small dining table. It is inspired by the anatomy of the knee joint, which can only bend one way. The location and angle of the table legs along with the meeting points of the joints keep the table upright and stable. When the table is folded down and used at the lower level it evokes associations of a small foal resting in a meadow with its legs bent. Die Idee basiert auf der Anatomie des Knies, dessen Gelenk sich nur in eine Richtung beugt. Position und Winkel der Tischbeine sowie die Verbindungsstellen der Gelenke geben Halt und Stabilität. Als niedriger Couchtisch erinnert er an ein kleines Reh, das mit angewinkelten Beinen auf einer Wiese ruht.
