The proposal is the combination of 2 main ideas. The creation of a new "TOUMPA" HILL (ILIADIS CONSTRUCTION CO) and the coating of the center soccer field with a shelter which has the form of the symbol of PAOK, the "double-headed eagle" (ARCHITETTURA VISUALE, ARCHITECTS OFFICE). The stadium is located next to PAOK SPORTS ARENA. The combination of two ideas produces a soccerfield - landmark, with identity substantially closer to the team and its fans than any other soccer field of any other team, nationally and internationally. The old hill 'TOUMPA', from which the city area of the old stadium got its name, is reflected on the building shell, which is a visitable area (parks, trees, etc.) and contains beneath it malls, underground parking, etc. The central soccerfield is overlapped by the roof-symbol, which will be perceived by fans during the game from the inside, but will be visible from outside too from any high point (panorama, plane etc.)
