Hotel Deco XV is one of downtown Omaha’s landmark buildings. Built in 1930 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel is an exceptional example of the art deco architecture of the period – a design movement originated at the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale and reflected in a number of Omaha’s most prominent buildings. The Hotel’s rich heritage is exemplified by it inclusion among only 225 properties in the United States honored by membership in Historic Hotels of America in affiliation with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Hotel is the only Historic Hotels of America property in Omaha and the state of Nebraska.
