MF House

Work in progress. Urban house in own plot. Ultramodern minimal 210m square house, is constructed of reinforced concrete and rendered blockwork to minimize cost and simplify the construction. The gardens on both sides of the house penetrate into the rooms and become part of the character of the house. The effect makes the spaces feel part of the landscape around the house, the garden is in the house. The “storage walls” are thicker than usual walls because they are also full height storage cupboards, camouflaged as the dividing walls between spaces. The only other division between inside and outside are the large seamless planes of glass which wind through the flowing spaces eliminating actual inside and outside. The seamless glass envelope is then emphasized with framed “goal posts”, which contain full height glass doors. http://gr.arc-in-form.com/architecture/mf-house-2/
