School in Taufkirchen (eng - ger - fra) ENG The Bilger Breustedt Elementary and Secondary school is open to nature with bright, sunny and spacious classrooms, and well-defined and readable outdoor function areas. The parking and transport sector in the North is delimited by the main building. 50 parkings and the holding area for school buses are there. The forecourt serves the central front entrance. From the hall again individual areas inside are developed. On a common two-story foyer all areas of the new building are connected to the already existing building of the Kindergarden. The foyer also serves as a waiting area for students and is located next to the wardrobe. In the south of the ensemble a large lawn forms an attractive outdoor area and playground bordered by the tree plantings along the Pram. The new with the existing buildings form an ensemble that blends into its surroundings. The buildings define its shape from its position on the site as well as their content. The relation of the interior to the surrounding landscape has become decisive. In the north a clear front three-storey building closures the school grounds. Situated on the ground floor and directly accessible from outside is the local museum and the music school. The gym is arranged on two floors in the West. The Construction of the two upper floors is defined as the longitudinal "aloof" building. It houses the secondary school. The as-storey elementary school building separates the outer areas of the school and the Kindergarden. The low building height allows good light conditions on the playground in the east. The local history museum and music school The Museum and the School of Music forms a spatial unit but both areas work independently. They are accessible from outside via the central foyer. The positioning of the museum demonstrates its public role. Show cases, integrated into the outer wall and evident from the outside, already provide the content. The link with the School of Music makes the use of space as a multifunctional event space, possible. The connection to the school kitchen on the first floor via the elevator in the lobby allows simple catering. The Gym From the central foyer can be reached via the lift or the stairs the gym and the locker rooms in the basement. This access makes external use for clubs and users possible. From the outside, activities can be viewed. The gym is exposed on the north facade glare-free and benefits of natural lightning. Built to 100 % in wood, the gym creates a pleasant atmosphere for all activities. The secondary school From the outside, the school is accessible via the foyer. All classes are orientated to the south and the Pram river. The cantilever of the roof and the presence of continuous balconies on each floor allow the screening of sunlight in summer. The facade can be opened by full high sliding windows generously, creating a strong sense of communication with the outdoor space. Art rooms and work rooms for physics and the school kitchen are oriented to the north and generously exposed. Primary school A special typology was developed for the primary school: The extensive ground floor structure is exposed in the center of a transparent roofed atrium, which also serves as a thermal buffer space. In this area there are the rooms for teachers and staff. The classes are oriented to the south and to the west. An overhanging canopy shields the sun in summer. A sweeping and extensive terrace allows the use of outdoor classes. The full-height sliding doors of the classes can be generously opened. The terraces are located above the flood area of the Pram river. The construction The basement of the building to the north is solid and made of concrete load-bearing walls with core insulation. The overlying two-storey building of the secondary school is designed as a skeleton of wood and solid wooden floors. Bridging the gymnasium is possible through the truss integrated in the walls of the second floor. The roof (minimum 5% slope) is inclined inwards and extensively greenery. The flat structure of the primary school also is designed completely in wood. A sequence of closed areas and transparent façade forms the base zone of the building in the north. The class façades in the south are glazed and fitted out to the exterior natural area with floor to ceiling sliding. Cableways textile blinds provide shade for an effective sunscreen to the south and west facades. Terraces and roof overhang will help prevent overheating in the summer, but allow passive solar gain during cold weather periods due to the generous glazing. For the optimization of comfort an area-under-floor heating provides cosiness in all areas of the school except the lobby that is minimal heated. GER Das neue Schulzentrum in Taufkirchen an der Pram bietet den Schülern und Lehrern ein modernes Unterrichtsgebäude, das sich angenehm in den umliegenden Naturraum einfügt. Großzügig, hell und natürlich sind die drei großen Schlagworte, die das neue Schulzentrum in Taufkirchen an der Pram zu einem architektonischen Highlight machen. Architekt Dietmar Feichtinger entwarf für die Schüler und Lehrer der Volks-, Haupt- und Musikschule ein Gebäude, das sich durch großzügige, helle Räume, adäquate Gemeinschaftsbereiche und genügend Freiräume auszeichnet. Durch die bewusste Wahl der Materialen und Gestaltung fügt sich der Neubau in die Landschaft und den umliegenden Naturraum ein und ist auch aus ökologischen Gesichtspunkten ein modernes Gebäude. Davon ist auch Baumeister Erwin Höckner, der die örtliche Bauaufsicht und Baukoordination über hatte, überzeugt: „Nach langen und sehr gewissenhafte geführten Diskussionen im Vorfeld (Umbau oder Neubau) ist es der Weitsicht und dem hohen Engagement der Gemeinde-, Schul- und Behördenvertreter zu verdanken, dass dieses Jahrhundertbauwerk verwirklicht werden konnte. Durch seine Architektur und Funktionalität strahlt es weit über die Gemeinde hinaus als gelungenes Beispiel für zeitgemäßen Schulbau“, so Höckner. Der Baumeister blickt nun auf zwei Jahre intensive Arbeit zurück, und ist von dem Ergebnis überzeugt: „Es war schon eine persönliche Herausforderung für mich, innerhalb von 24 Monaten mit Hilfe von rund 30 ausführenden Firmen das Projekt umzusetzen und bis zu 50 Arbeiter gleichzeitig auf der Baustelle so zu koordinieren, dass sie sich nicht im Weg standen und effektiv arbeiten konnten. Es freut uns außerordentlich, dass es gelungen ist, das Bauwerk ohne Unfälle und Personenschaden abzuwickeln“. berichtet Erwin Höckner. Auch Bezirkshauptmann Rudolf Greiner freut sich ob des erfolgreichen Projektabschlusses: „Mit der Eröffnung des Bilger- Breustedt Schulzentrums kann die Gemeinde Taufkirchen an der Pram eines der größten Bauprojekte der letzten Jahre im Bezirk Schärding erfolgreich abschließen“, so Greiner. „Mit diesen neuen, bestens geeigneten Räumlichkeiten sorgt die Gemeinde Taufkirchen an der Pram dafür, dass allen Benutzern ihre Arbeit erleichtert wird, und schafft dazu hervorragende Rahmenbedingungen“, ist der Bezirkshauptmann überzeugt. Natürliche Belichtung und Belüftung Das neue Schulzentrum beherbergt nicht nur Volksschule, Hauptschule und Musikschule, sondern bietet zudem noch Platz für ein Heimatmuseum. Um den unterschiedlichen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, war eine sorgfältige Planung erforderlich. Das dreigeschossige Gebäude im Norden, in dem sich die Hauptschule befindet, bildet eine Front, die das Schulgelände vom Verkehrsbereich abschließt. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich neben dem Eingangsbereich das Heimatmuseum und die Musikschule, die beide von außen direkt erreichbar sind. In den beiden Obergeschossen, die als längsgerichteter abgehobener Baukörper definiert sind, befinden sich die Klassen der Hauptschule. Der Pausenhof,,eine großzügige, leicht überschaubare Grünfläche im Süden des Schulzentrums, wird durch den Baumbewuchs entlang der Pram abgeschlossen. Die Volksschule ist in einem eingeschossigen Baukörper im Süden beherbergt. Durch die niedrige Gebäudehöhe ist eine gute Besonnung des Spielgartens im Osten gewährleistet. Der erdgeschossige Baukörper wird zusätzlich im Zentrum über ein Atrium mit Tageslicht versorgt. Ausladende den Klassen vorgelagerte Terrassen ermöglichen den Unterricht im Freien. In die Fassade wurden Vitrinen des Heimatmuseums integriert, die von außen bereits einsichtbar sind. Im Untergeschoss befindet sich ein Schaulager. Die Musikschule ist in unmittelbarer Nähe des Heimatmuseums, dessen Raum als multifunktioneller Veranstaltungsraum genutzt werden kann. „Materialgerechtes Bauen, nachvollziehbare Konstruktionen, freie Leitungsführungen erzählen die Struktur des Gebäudes“, erklärt Dietmar Feichtinger. Der dreigeschossige Baukörper der Hauptschule und die Volksschule sind als Skelettbau in Holz/Stahl-Verbundbauweise konzipiert. Der Turnsaal – der in drei Einheiten teilbar ist und nach Norden hin verglast wurde – wurde mit einem Stahl-Hängewerk stützenfrei überspannt. Besonders der großzügige Lichteinfall in den Räumen ist bei diesem Projekt hervorzuheben. Das zweigeschossige Foyer ist über die gesamte Höhe zum Vorplatz hin verglast und eine Abfolge von geschlossenen und transparenten Fassadenbändern bildet die Sockelzone des Gebäudes. Die öffenbaren Fassadenelemente wurden so angeordnet, dass eine optimale Durchlüftung und in weiterer Folge eine natürliche Klimatisierung des Gebäudes ermöglicht werden soll. Die Klassenfassaden sind zum Naturraum hin verglast und mit Schiebeelementen und Lüftungsklappflügeln ausgestattet. Vor allem die gute Zusammenarbeit – von der Planung, Finanzierung und Ausführung bis hin zum Umzug – gewährleistete ein erfolgreiches Projekt. Le projet se distingue par la lisibilité de ses unités fonctionnelles et par la qualité de sa relation à l’espace naturel et la rivière Pram. Le corps principal est situé parallèle à la rue formant un écran entre la rue et le jardin, qui donne sur la rivière. Les classes sont orientées sud vers le jardin. De larges balcons en porte-à-faux protègent du soleil en été. Le rez-de-chaussée est occupé par le conservatoire et le musée. Dans le bâtiment d’un étage se situe l’école primaire. Les classes s’organisent autour d’un atrium, chaque classe dispose d’une large terrasse. Le foyer commun forme l’élément fédérateur des différentes unités. Les façades sont en bois. Elles créent une ambiance en harmonie avec l’espace naturel et répondent aux exigences de Haute Qualité Environnementale. Pour le collège, les classes d’enseignement général sont tous orientés au sud et peuvent etre ouvertes largement vers l’éxterieures avec des grandes baies vitrés coulissantes. Les classes spécifiques comme les salles d’informatique, la cuisine pour l’enseignement de la préparation des plats, les classes de dessin et les salles des sciences sont orientées au nord avec des grandes ouvertures pour un éclairage naturel. Toutes les classes sont également vitrées dans les parties hautes vers les couloirs. Le plafond en bois est en continuité et les couloirs sont ainsi naturellement éclairés. Le gymnase est accessible par le hall central et utilisable ainsi pour des activités extrascolaire pour le grand public ainsi que les salles de musique. Le petit musée local est visible de l’extérieure avec ses vitrines orientés vers l’intérieure et l’extérieure du bâtiment.
