The program of the Media Center and the public space is grouped rhythmically and sound-level wise, as an abstraction from the former use of the site (movie theater) and the variety of scenarios the surroundings present. As in Charlie Chaplin’s silent films, where the soundtracks give meaning to the scenes, the implicit music in this project moves the user in the building.
