The M9 development is located in Montreal, in the Cité du Multimédia, close to the Old Port and the Business District.
Bordering Bonaventure Highway, M9 is the latest important development in the sector. The M9 is made up of four phases, to be
built consecutively. As a whole, the buildings of M9 will make optimal use of the site space and create new addresses on each of
the neighbouring streets. Situated on Prince, Wellington and Duke streets, the new complex faces a landscaped outdoor
courtyard. This space, an urban haven of peace and tranquility, will surely inspire future developments in the area.
A residential condo project, M9 Phase 1 is the first-born of this multifunctional complex and boasts seven floors. The ground
floor is occupied by maisonettes: apartments with an entrance on Prince and private gardens on Duke. The other floors are made
up of “live work spaces”, as well as loft-inspired, two-floor apartments. On the top floor, large terraces offer unique views of the
Old Port and complement the balconies in each unit. An indoor courtyard and a landscaped terrace with a water fountain round
out the backyard of the building. This first phase was inspired by daylight factories, which once lined this working-class
neighbourhood. It, however, offers modern, design-focused style.
