Most Important Goals - Perform a high level of bioclimatic housing on a plot inadequate, bad orientation and (very narrow and very elongated in an east-west). - To propose a typology of housing for very hot weather, allowing a high interior light, and it stays fresh, without conditioning mechanical systems. 2. Architectural Solution Due to the narrowness of the lot, the house consists of two elongated volumes townhouses, this area consists of living room and kitchen, and the area west of the bedrooms of the house. Thus, the housing extends along an EW axis, and is fully exposed to the south. If this is the fact that housing has risen the most, you get to make the most direct sunlight in winter, although only 6 m. of the south facade, there is a home built The distribution of interior spaces allows for a maximum functional level and the maximum utilization of the floor area. The day area integrated into one space-the living area, eating area and cooking area. This space can be divided by large glass sliding panels. In the east and west facades are covered porches willing (to use the vernacular typology of riu-rau), which allow views, and summer housing protect the solar radiation early in the morning, and above all afternoon. 3. Eco-friendly materials 1. Foundations and structure. Double-leaf walls and insulation. The inner sheet is made out of concrete blocks 20 cm. thick, large format, filled with different materials, depending on your situation at work (sand, concrete, or hemp). The outer leaf is built with Ipe wood panels of 20 mm. thick, or hollow brick factory 7 cm. thick. Inside there is a double sheet of hemp insulation layer of 6 cm. and a ventilated air space of 3 cm. The floor is made out of tile navy. 2. Exterior finishes Trowelled screed of lime-cement mortar. Silicate paint. Panels Ipe wood battens of 20 mm. thick. 3. Interior finishes Paintings vegetables. Based floorings ceramic tiles, parquet and ecological, narrow blade, treated with vegetable oils. Double doors plywood board, beech plywood, and treated with vegetable oils. 4. Cover Roof garden, with an average thickness of 30 cm. of land. Pitched roof sandwich panel based consists of: top Viroc board (wood chips and cement) of 13 mm, bottom board of birch plywood 13 mm, and internal insulation hemp fiber 10 cm. thick. Based coating with a layer of rubber, and a coating of zinc sheet. 5. Others Polypropylene water pipes. Polyethylene drainage pipes. Energy-efficient appliances. Silestone kitchen countertops antibacterial. Walls and floors of high performance glass (anti-scratch, slip, easy cleaning, special screen ...). Iroko wood carpentry treated with vegetable oils. Internal blinds Japanese cotton canvas. Shading Ipe hardwood, treated with vegetable oils. All woods used have a certificate of origin with selective logging and ecological treatment (FSC). 4. Highlights Innovations - Solar radiant floor heating, high energy efficiency. It has taken only 6 solar captors 2m. * 1m., For the heating system and the ACS This has been possible due to high energy efficiency of housing and its high bioclimatic (housing only consumes 40% of the energy it needs a residence, with the same floor area.
