"BIOLOFT I" ECO-HOUSE 2004 XXI Biosphere S.L. Betera. Valencia 103.85 m2 (each of the houses) 90,500 euros ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .... 1. Most Important Goals - Build a prototype of bioclimatic behave perfectly in all climatic zones Spanish. That is, a thermally self-regulation that can home in any climate, and therefore have a high capacity to generate heat, and generate fresh, just for its architecture. Similarly, housing should have natural devices to reduce, if necessary, the humidity inside. - Designing a home that can be completely industrialized, and most of its components can be prefabricated support structure including load-bearing walls of lightweight concrete. 2. Architectural Solution It aims to design a house of small size, compact and clear, high-level ecological and bioclimatic. Therefore, we have chosen a simple volume, square, facing south. The ground floor houses the prototype day area, including a lounge, kitchen, a toilet and a study. The first floor houses the sleeping area including two bedrooms and a bathroom, and is available as a loft, "dump" on the great hall below. This establishes an important communication vertically through a large double height space. The south facade has a huge glass area can be protected by a set of external sliding shutters. In this way you can control the passage of direct sunlight, and therefore can regulate the level of natural lighting and natural heating degree, by the greenhouse effect. In winter, open the shutters, and the house lights (and heat) for solar radiation in the south. In contrast, in summer the shutters are closed and the housing is illuminated by solar radiation through north indirect overhead (which prevents hot). The interior of the housing is transparent, and partitions are glass, allowing you to use a high level of natural lighting. The house does not have holes just to the east and west, so that solar radiation tangentially in summer (early in the morning and late afternoon) does not heat the house. Similarly, the porches are arranged on either side of the house (east and west), which allows occupants to enjoy nature and protect the home of solar radiation in summer (and at the same time not hinder their ability to self-heating in winter, greenhouse effect). The house has a geothermal cooling system effective natural air by means of underground galleries. Therefore, the prototype can be a perfect bioclimatic performance in any climate zone. 3. Eco-friendly materials 1. Foundations and structure. Two sheets of drywall and insulation. The inner leaf is the load-bearing wall of reinforced concrete 15 cm. thickness (with high thermal inertia). The outer sheet is lightweight precast concrete of 6 cm. Inside there is a double sheet of hemp insulation layer of 5 cm. and a ventilated air space of 3 cm. In some parts of the facade has been replaced the outer concrete panel, a ventilated façade based Ipe wood treated with vegetable oils. The floor is made out of prefabricated concrete slabs. 2. Exterior finishes Silicate paint. Tongue and groove boards Ipe wood treated with vegetable oils, and coatings Zinc sheet. 3. Interior finishes Paintings vegetables. Parquet floorings birch plywood base. Natural Stone Flooring. Double panel doors chipboard, veneered beech, and treated with vegetable oils. 4. Cover Pitched roof made out of a board "sandwich" consisting of three sheets: a Viroc board (wood chips with cement) of 13 mm. thick, an insulating layer hemp fiber gives 100 mm. thick, and a birch plywood board of 13 mm. thick. This board "sandwich" is covered by a tarpaulin and corrugated iron. The beams are made of Ipe stained and treated with vegetable oils. 5. Others Polypropylene water pipes. Polyethylene drainage pipes. Energy-efficient appliances. Silestone kitchen countertops antibacterial. Walls and floors of high performance glass (anti-scratch, slip, easy cleaning, special screen ...). Pine woodwork treated with vegetable oils. Cotton canvas awnings. Shading of solid pine, treated with vegetable oils. 4. Highlights Innovations - Structural building system based on prefabricated concrete plates lightened. This allows to build the structure of the house in just one week. - Complete all components industrialization of housing. - Building system of low price and high quality. - System of de-wetting "Peltier effect", very low power consumption.
