In the Island of Saint Barthelemy within a short distance to Anse de Cayes, six unique and customized “Stone Villas” are being designed by Matteo Fantoni Studio. Cutting edge design Villas respects the local traditional architecture through the use of stone, wood, glass and solar energy making the project totally sustainable; regarding the environment, creating a low maintenance development. Swimming pools designed as water stepped terraces running as a river cascade towards the ocean, create the impression of floating wooden stones. Each Villa has open plan living spaces, double heights ceilings with mezzanines decking offer extraordinary ocean views for all interiors. Fully serviced, the Villas are being constructed for a selective clientele. A relax atmosphere is generated by the selectiveness and privacy of the location, as a one of a kind tropical retreat. With the planning application consent process under way the Villas are programmed to start construction by mid 2012 and ready for occupation from summer 2013.
