House in Fuji There are formed the slope of an angle of 30 degree as breakwater in the project site of north side. Over the slope, there are a nature park, then, it can be seen Mt.Fuji clearly. The slope and park, and these sight are very attractive as one of scene, however, to get in these scene to the house, it is necessary to control of eyes of which people come and go on there. We designed the section composition of total volume connected the outside environment which is the shape of seciton in south-north direction. In the south side of building, it was extend the roof slab as a eave for cutting the direct daylight in summer. And it was tilted the wall in south side slightly, accordingly the extended eave. In the north side, it was cut the volume of building for getting the daylight to north side. Additionally the wall is tilted greatly, we designed its space as a terrace. In the 3rd floor, it is designed as open terrace which is the level we can see the slope and the park, Mt.Fuji. In the 2nd floor, there are wooden louver along the shape of building for cutting people's eyes. In the 1st floor, it is gotten the terrace as the golf practice area. The tilted wall of the north side cut eyes from the slope, it is able to feel the depth of the space from main bedroom. In addition to these design of the section composition, in composition of plan, we designed the space along to the client's desire which is to ensure the space for each hobby. It is one of them to live mainly sitting on the floor. It is also to cherish to feeling of the material. There is difference level about 500mm between kitchen and living-dining room, however the top board of kitchen is designed as a combined top board of dining. It is available on difference floor level. In the living room, dining room, kitchen on 2nd floor, we can feel the tilted wall of north-south greatly. By the direction of vertical as open ceiling, the direction of horizontal as linked space ( livingroom- inner terrace- terrace), we can feel dinamic space. Because concrete tends to look inorganic, the facade of the south side is covered with the wooden louver softly, For the clients, Mt.Fuji already became the routine scene, they didn't see anew. However, by our design which is plan of strongly aware getting its scene into the daily life, they rediscovered great beatiful scene of Mt.Fuji.
