POLARIS - Masterplan Anfiteatro morenico di Ivrea. Team: Mario Tassoni, Andreas Kipar, Fortunato D’Amico, Christine Cary Il territorio dell’Anfiteatro Morenico di Ivrea, di circa 600 Kmq, è il più grande degli anfiteatri glaciali d’Europa. Si compone di 92 comuni per circa 200.000 abitanti complessivi, di cui 25.000 vivono ad Ivrea. Tutta quest’area del Canavese si costituisce come legame fisico e materiale morfologico preminente nei confronti di una proposta di una sua rivalutazione paesaggistico-ambientale. Polaris, promosso dal Comune di Cossano Canavese e dagli altri Comuni partners, è un progetto culturale ideato per stimolare il rilancio di questo territorio e favorire opportunità di sviluppo sociale ed economico sostenibile. Un processo che parte dalle risorse esistenti e in particolare dalla natura e dall’agricoltura che qui, più che in altri luoghi, sono impreziosite da importanti testimonianze storico-culturali e archeo astronomiche. La Pera Cunca, un masso coppellato tra i più interessanti ed enigmatici del periodo celtico, il Castello di Masino, collocato sull’omonima collina, patrimonio del F.A.I. Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, rappresentano solo alcuni dei rilevanti reperti storici da tutelare presenti nel territorio del Canavese. Il Masterplan, realizzato per questo progetto, assume come prioritaria la messa a sistema delle eccellenze attraverso circuiti tematici. Nell’ area si possono individuare ben 11 circuiti per un totale di circa 284 chilometri. Le stelle e l’archeoastronomia diventano la passwords per accedere al sistema di conoscenze storiche e di sviluppi futuri delle aree intorno all’Anfiteatro Morenico di Ivrea. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The territory Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea, about 600 sq km, is the largest of the glacial amphitheatres in Europe. It consists of 92 municipalities for a total of about 200,000 inhabitants of whom 25,000 live in Ivrea. This whole area of Canavese is constituted as a physical link prominent morphological and material against a proposal for a revaluation of its landscape and environment. Polaris, sponsored by the City of Cossano Canavese municipalities and other partners, is a cultural project designed to stimulate the revitalization of this area and promote opportunities for social and economic development. A process that starts from the existing resources and in particular the nature and agriculture that here, more than in other places, are embellished with important historical and cultural and archaeological astronomy. La Pera Cunca, a rock hollowed among the most interesting and enigmatic of the Celtic period, the Masino Castle, located on the hill, the assets of the FAI Italian Environment Fund, are just some of the important historical relics to be protected in the area of Canavese. The Masterplan, developed for this project, takes as its priority the development of system excellence through thematic circuits. It can identify up to 11 circuits for a total of about 284 kilometer. The stars and the archaeoastronomy become the passwords to access the system of knowledge of historical and future development of areas around Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea.
