A) The plot is crossed by High Line park, whose structure is a barrier for those passing through at street level. Therefore, in order to connect the urban space with the building, is created a great green platform that, instead of put oneself on street level, is located at the same height of the old rails, forming as a sort of a green terminal, extension of the existing raised park. B) The platform is connected to the sea walk in front of the Hudson river and communicates, via the ex-railway line, with the W 34 St. and Gansevoort Plaza. From street level is possible to access directly to the parking, whose roof is the same platform. The program is to create an area of approximately 6000 sqm. C) Given the high price of lands in Manhattan, is convenient, in order to maximize the potential value of the plot, to get together more functions in a single building. The original volume of the theater is raised and supported by four piers containing mixed-use spaces. The proceeds from the rental or sale of the units will fund theatrical activities. D) The blocks are combined by twos, giving additional area to the square. E) To generate a real theatre-system, creates two blocks: one dedicated to residences for the actors and the staff of the theatre; one for a hotel, to respond to the growing theatre tourism. F) The West building is rotated 90 degrees to allow a better exposure.
