Un fabbricato industriale destinato alle arti grafiche ed alla editoria, organizzato in spazi operativi, servizi, uffici direzionali e sale espositive.

La struttura è interamente modulare e prefabbricata, con la zona direzionale/espositiva su due livelli. Una ampia hall di ingresso, a doppia altezza, mette in relazione i due piani e li disimpegna con una scenografica scala metallica.

Il fronte principale, esposto a sud/ovest, è interamente vetrato, con sistemi che si strutturano a fasce orizzontali rimarcate dal diverso trattamento dei giunti dei serramenti. Una ampia fascia orizzontale di moduli vetrati riporta, disposti a caso, simboli grafici e lettere a simboleggiare la destinazione della struttura. L'antistante struttura metallica ha funzioni caratterizzanti e di supporto di ampie schermature solari.

Il fronte vetrato garantisce gli apporti termici nel periodo invernale e riduce fortemente l'utilizzo dei sistemi di riscaldamento. La sovraesposizione estiva è filtrata dagli schermi metallici il cui aggetto è dimensionato in funzione delle incidenze solari estive.

Industrial building for the graphic arts

 An industrial building for graphic arts and publishing, organized in operating spaces, services, executive offices and exhibition halls.

The structure is modular and prefabricated, with the executive / exhibition area on two levels. A large, double-height entrance hall connects the two floors and disengages them with a scenic metal staircase.

The main front, facing south / west, is entirely glazed, with systems that are structured in horizontal bands highlighted by the different treatment of the window joints. A wide horizontal band of glazed modules shows, randomly arranged, graphic symbols and letters to symbolize the destination of the structure. The metal structure in front has characteristic functions and supports large sun screens.

The glazed front guarantees thermal contributions in the winter and strongly reduces the use of heating systems. Metal screens whose overhang is sized according to the summer sun filter the summer overexposure.
