The property located at 59 Via Romolo Gessi is the result of an extensive renovation, both internally and externally, of the flat on the first floor, a property already owned by the Clients, and the gatehouse on the ground floor, which includes two thirds of the condominium courtyard. 

An integral part of an elegant historical condominium, which has undergone a recent conservative renovation, the project represents the harmonious fusion of distinctive properties and styles. The architects, in close collaboration with the client, chose to make these elements dialogue with balance and refinement. The Clients‘ love for the London lifestyle and the Architects’ approach to the Milanese architectural language have resulted in a flat with an elegant character, where the wooden floors and stucco boiseries on the walls create a refined backdrop for a discreet and unique project within the historic Milanese courtyards. 

The distinctive feature of the architectural intervention lies in the ability to enhance the most significant original elements of the building, such as the height of the ceilings. In fact, the Studio has developed an innovative project, whose strong peculiarity is the revolutionary distribution system, articulated on multiple levels, all in perfect harmony with each other, which create dynamic and fluid environments that emphasise the spatiality of the flat. 

These carefully designed levels help define different spaces within the same living area, creating an interplay of depth and movement. 

The alternation of levels invites a living experience that encourages a richer and more articulated perception of space.

L'immobile situato in Via Romolo Gessi 59 è il risultato di una profonda ristrutturazione, sia interna che esterna, che vede protagonisti l’appartamento al piano primo, immobile già di proprietà dei Clienti, e la portineria al piano terra, che include due terzi del cortile condominiale. 

Parte integrante di un elegante condominio storico, che lo ha visto protagonista di un recente ristrutturazione conservativa, il progetto rappresenta la fusione armoniosa di proprietà e stili distintivi. Gli architetti, in stretta collaborazione con la Committenza, hanno scelto di far dialogare questi elementi con equilibrio e raffinatezza. L’amore dei Clienti per lo stile di vita londinese e l’approccio degli Architetti verso il linguaggio architettonico milanese hanno dato vita a un appartamento dal carattere elegante, dove i pavimenti in legno e le boiserie in stucco alle pareti creano uno sfondo raffinato per un progetto discreto e unico all'interno delle storiche corti milanesi. 

Il tratto distintivo dell'intervento architettonico risiede nella capacità di esaltare gli elementi originali più significativi dell'immobile, come l’altezza dei soffitti. Lo Studio ha sviluppato infatti un progetto innovativo, la cui forte peculiarità, è il rivoluzionario impianto distributivo, articolato su molteplici livelli, tutti in perfetta sintonia tra loro, che creano ambienti dinamici e fluidi che enfatizzano la spazialità dell’appartamento. 

Questi livelli, studiati con cura, contribuiscono a definire spazi diversi all’interno della stessa area living, creando un gioco di profondità e movimento. 

L'alternanza dei livelli invita a un'esperienza abitativa che favorisce una percezione più ricca e articolata degli spazi.
