Apartment 150 m² in Kazan | Ar Architects
Kazan’ / Russian Federation
This project was a symbiosis of architectural and design solutions, in which two apartments were united into a single space. The clients' main request was minimalism, but without compromising on functionality.
The clear zoning organizes the apartment around two main scenarios: the kitchen-living room is a space for meetings and communication, the private part is an area of seclusion and relaxation. The hall acts as a connecting link, providing a smooth transition between these worlds.
Minimalism in this project has acquired depth: it is not cold and sterile, but warm and thoughtful. All engineering systems are hidden, surfaces are concise and materials are carefully selected to create a sense of tactile comfort. Light walls and ceilings, monochromatic shades, soft texture of decorative plaster - all this lightens the interior and emphasizes the architectural purity of the space.
The clear lines of the ceiling have a uniform geometry and are not interrupted even above the doorways. They form a rhythm that gives structure to the space and makes it more expressive. This solution enhances the feeling of orderliness and modern minimalism, as well as visually structuring the interior.
The kitchen-living room space is designed as a dynamic but balanced environment. The dining table combined with the kitchen island emphasizes the connection between the zones and makes them flexible in use. Everything is ergonomic: comfort, functionality and attention to detail.
Another unconventional solution in this area is a spacious pantry with open storage systems. Here you can conveniently place supplies, dishes and household appliances without overloading the main space.
The children's room is designed with an eye to the future. The dressing room acts as a connecting element between the bedroom and the play area, ensuring
comfortable interaction. In the future, this space can be easily transformed to meet the needs of a growing family.
The furniture in the project was selected according to the principle of balancing comfort and design: some items are made to order, some are selected from collections of Russian brands. In the living room, the point of attraction was the sofa group by MASS Furniture - cozy, with deep seating and perfectly thought-out geometry, creating an atmosphere of relaxed rest.
Technology is integrated into the interior in the most seamless way possible. The automation system allows controlling light, microclimate and curtains via smartphone or voice commands, while different lighting scenarios emphasize the functionality of each zone.
Our result is an interior that reflects not only the aesthetics of modern design, but also the philosophy of comfortable living. Here, every element has its place, every technique is well thought out, and the space sounds in unison with the lifestyle of the owners.
