Punto Zero has renovated a spacious apartment in a truly unique building in the Monti district, featuring a frescoed ceiling with a strong chromatic presence in the main living area.

The floor plan, thanks to its corner exposure and numerous external windows, fills the home with abundant natural light throughout the day.

The goal was to enhance the historical and original elements of the house, emphasizing the uniqueness of its pre-existing features—such as the frescoed ceiling—by working with brightness and the purity of the space.

During discussions with the client, the concept of a "nest" frequently emerged: a bright, simple, and white yet cozy place. On a historical—and in some ways romantic—foundation, the intervention was carried out with a very clean and precise approach. A white canvas, designed in a light and linear way, on which to write a new story for the client and her personal retreat.

Punto Zero ha rinnovato un ampio appartamento in un immobile piuttosto unico del rione Monti, con un soffitto affrescato, dalla forte presenza cromatica, all’interno della stanza principale del living.

La pianta, grazie all’esposizione angolare e le numerose finestre esterne, restituisce alla casa una forte luce atutte le ore del giorno.

L’intento è stato quello di valorizzare gli elementi storici e originari della casa, potenziando l’unicità delle preesistenze – come il soffitto affrescato – lavorando con la luminosità e il candore dello spazio.

Dal confronto con la cliente è emerso spesso il tema di un nido: un luogo chiaro, luminoso, semplice e bianco ma avvolgente al tempo stesso. Su un substrato storico – e in alcuni tratti romantico – si è intervenuto in modo molto pulito e secco. Una tela bianca, disegnata in modo leggero e lineare, su cui scrivere una nuova storia per la cliente e il suo rifugio.
