The apartment, on two levels, in which the owner grew up and which she chose to restore to make it more modern and functional for a family with different needs. The intervention mainly involved the living area of the apartment, with the idea of maintaining existing furniture and finishes and integrating them in a coherent and respectful way with new materials and modern furnishings. In general, the intervention is characterized by the use of bright colors and strong character that denote the strong artistic personality of the homeowners. The need to have an extra room (a studio for smart working), led to reducing the size of the old living room with a partition in which an imposing four-door blue glass iron door of size 250x300 allows to maintain the breadth of space and the great brightness of the apartment. Marking the color theme, the kitchen is red with a speckled marble top and the floor in is yellow resin; the bathroom has a blue resin floor with 20x20 terrazzo tile wainscoting.

L’appartamento, su due livelli, è quello in cui la proprietaria è cresciuta e che ha scelto di restaurare per renderlo più moderna e funzionale ad una famiglia con esigenze diverse dal passato. L’intervento ha riguardato principalmente la zona giorno dell’appartamento, con l’idea di mantenere arredi e finiture esistenti e integrarli in maniera coerente e rispettosa con nuovi materiali e con arredi moderni. In generale l’intervento è caratterizzato dall’uso di colori accesi e di forte carattere che denotano la forte personalità artistica dei proprietari di casa. La necessità di avere una stanza in più (uno studio per lo smart working), ha portato a ridurre la dimensione del vecchio salone con un tramezzo in cui un’imponente porta ferro vetro blu a quattro ante di dimensioni 250x300 permette di mantenere l’ampiezza degli spazi e la grande luminosità dell’appartamento. Marcando il tema del colore, la cucina è rossa col top in marmo maculato e il pavimento in è in resina gialla; il bagno ha il pavimento in resina blu con zoccolatura di piastrelle 20x20 terrazzo.
