Natural and Furniture-Constructed Residence
Kaohsiung House Taiwan / 2024
"Searching for a suitable choice for relocation from childhood memories, we came up with the concept of Kaohsiung House! In the early days, Kaohsiung was a key city during the industrial era, with the port primarily managed in a closed manner. As industries changed and people's expectations for the city evolved, unique port city culture brought more diversity in humanities!
Therefore, we chose several aspects:
Nature and Greenery:
Expansive views and green courtyards harmoniously blend indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing the comfort and vitality of the living environment.
Openness and Transparency:
The open kitchen design, using metal frames paired with translucent embossed glass as a boundary, creates a bright and transparent space, making home life more fluid.
Functionality and Zoning:
Using modular furniture to differentiate each space allows for flexible usage, enabling users to adjust freely to meet the needs of modern families.
Redefining the Entrance:
The entrance design breaks traditional layout constraints, creating a unique entrance image that is both convenient and aesthetically pleasing.
Beneath a gray foundation (akin to memories of the industrial era), there is a yearning for clear blue skies accompanied by natural greenery, immersing one in a captivating landscape. Walking on the warm earth, the heart is filled with longing for the beautiful scenery of the port city, anticipating a whole new future."
