in the high alpine region, between tall pines and mountain trails, an existing mountain hut is being renovated, recycled and rebuilt. the project reinterprets traditional forms and the shape of the site, playing with proportions and movement.

the base, the foundation integrated into a steep slope, remains intact and blends into the overall living space. the upper part of the house with its pitched roof turns for special views of the landscape.

the oversized roof creates intermediate spaces, in nature, in the built environment. these are transitions, protected open spaces between inside and outside. at the centre of the architectural element is the vertical stone chimney. the house revolves around it, forming itself both inside and out. the stones from the landscape shape and determine the architecture. the fireplace is docked as a pivot and fixed point, around it the terraces, the common, the communicative, the meeting, the common barbecue and inside the ovens, the warmth can be felt on every floor.

as part of the whole, the light grey-green glazed spruce wood from the local forest, velvety, an interplay of vertical and horizontal widths, interrupted by a rhythm of vertical wooden uprights. the overhanging roof, enhanced by the v-shaped rain gutters, takes on an aura of alpine tradition.

rundum – haus p

im alpinen hochgebiet, zwischen hohen kiefern und bergpfaden, wird eine bestehende berghütte renoviert, recycelt und weitergeabaut das projekt interpretiert die traditionellen formen, die ortsform neu und spielt mit proportionen und bewegungen.

der sockel, das fundament integriert in einen steilhang, bleibt erhalten und fügt sich als wohnraum im gesamten ein. der obere teil des hauses mit seinem satteldach dreht sich für besondere aussichten zur landschaft.

mit dem überdimensionalen dach, entstehen zwischenräume, in der natur, im gebauten. es sind übergänge, geschützte freiräume zwischen innen und außen. im zentrum architektonisches element ist der vertikale kamin aus stein. um diesen dreht, formt sich das haus, außen wie innen. die steine aus der landschaft formen, bestimmen die architektur. der kamin als dreh – und fixpunkt angedockt, um ihn die terrassen, das gemeinsame, das kommunikative, die begegnung, das gemeinsame grillen und im inneren die öfen, die wärme in jedem geschoss spürbar.

als teil des ganzen, das leicht graugrün lasierte fichtenholz vom lokalen wald, samtig, ein wechselspiel von vertikalen und horizontalen breiten, unterbrochen von einem rythmus aus vertikalen holzstehern. das ausladende dach, durch die v-förmige regenrinnen potenziert, bekommt eine aura von alpiner tradition.

ein haus im wald, als teil einer lichtung, integriert durch form und materialität.

in alta montagna, tra alti pini e sentieri di montagna, una baita esistente viene ristrutturata, riciclata e ricostruita. il progetto reinterpreta le forme tradizionali e la forma del sito, giocando con le proporzioni e il movimento.

La base, le fondamenta integrate in un pendio scosceso, rimane intatta e si fonde con lo spazio abitativo complessivo. la parte superiore della casa, con il suo tetto a falde, si trasforma in una vista speciale sul paesaggio.

Il tetto sovradimensionato crea spazi intermedi, nella natura, nell'ambiente costruito. si tratta di transizioni, di spazi aperti protetti tra l'interno e l'esterno. al centro dell'elemento architettonico si trova il camino verticale in pietra. la casa ruota intorno ad esso, formandosi sia all'interno che all'esterno. Le pietre del paesaggio plasmano e determinano l'architettura. il camino è agganciato come perno e punto fisso, attorno ad esso si sviluppano le terrazze, il comune, il comunicativo, l'incontro, il barbecue comune e all'interno dei forni, il calore si sente ad ogni piano.

come parte dell'insieme, il legno di abete rosso smaltato grigio chiaro proveniente dalla foresta locale, vellutato, un gioco di larghezze verticali e orizzontali, interrotto da un ritmo di montanti verticali in legno. il tetto sporgente, arricchito dalle grondaie a V, assume un'aura di tradizione alpina.

una casa nella foresta, come parte di una radura, integrata attraverso la forma e la materialità.
