Standing 124 meters tall, AGE 360 is the new architectural landmark in Curitiba city

The residential building, delivered by Architects Office, merges functionality, sustainability, and innovative design.

AGE 360, a new residential building led by Greg Bousquet for developer AG7, reshapes the Ecoville neighborhood in Curitiba by introducing a vertical architectural landmark that integrates technical innovation, sustainability, and quality of life. Rising 124 meters, the building was designed to become an urban icon, reflecting the balance between structural pragmatism and the architectural poetry that defines AO’s projects.

The concept was to create a residential building visible from various points across the city while maintaining a strong connection with its surroundings. The low-density site, with privileged views of Barigui Park, posed structural and volumetric challenges. After 48 volumetric studies, the team arrived at the final configuration, which complies with local regulations while maximizing urban and natural perspectives. The result is a dynamic volume featuring chamfers that have become the defining identity of the project.

Integration between the mineral and the organic
To ensure interior flexibility and eliminate pillars within the apartments, AGE 360 employs a concrete exoskeleton. This structural solution not only optimizes internal layouts but also redefines the relationship between residents and space, providing versatile configurations and unobstructed views. The decision also adds a strong aesthetic element, emphasizing the tower’s verticality while aligning with the concept of lightness.

The building's common areas were placed at the tower's center rather than at ground level. Spaces such as a pool, spa, and elevated gardens offer communal environments with panoramic views of the city, reinforcing the wellness concept and promoting well-being. Natural wood, combined with concrete and greenery, adorns these areas, creating a welcoming and serene atmosphere.

Vegetation is a cornerstone of the project, reinforcing biophilia and a commitment to sustainability. Built-in planters on terraces create a continuous garden, with carefully selected plant species that are wind-resistant and low-maintenance. The contrast between exposed concrete and vegetation creates a visual and functional balance, genuinely connecting residents to nature.

Architectural Legacy
AGE 360 is a finalist for MIPIM 2025 and has already earned globally recognized awards such as the iF Design Award 2021, Rethinking the Future, and the Fitwel certification, which acknowledges projects focused on user health and well-being. These accolades highlight the project's positive impact on the real estate market and the urban landscape of Curitiba.

More than just a visual landmark, AGE 360 exemplifies how architecture can integrate functionality, sustainability, and cultural impact. “Every decision was guided by functionality, yet it resulted in something poetically integrated into the urban and natural context,” says Greg Bousquet, founder of Architects Office. The building represents a synthesis of how the present can dialogue with the future, delivering solutions that enrich both the city and its residents’ daily lives.

AGE 360 reaffirms that architecture can be more than a structure — it can be a catalyst for new ways of living and connecting with the surroundings.
