The Inside the Wall family house project is about creating a home that suits the lifestyle of a specific family, where the worlds—public and private—are separated. At the beginning of the design process for this house, we decided to turn to the classical housing model—the Peristyle, which has been reinterpreted over centuries in various cultures and architectural techniques. It is important to note that the conceptual design for organizing the entire site was developed in close collaboration with the client.

The main façade is a majestic plane that captivates with its visual illusion. It is a brick metaphor dividing the inner and outer worlds, drawing attention with a grand entrance gate and a striking portal. Minimalist yet monumental, the façade's plane comes alive with a structured composition of functional and decorative openings playing with plasticity. It firmly establishes the street frontage, as a reliable barrier against urban noise and prying eyes.

The restrained exterior of the façades contrasts with the openness of the interior space. Beyond the wall, everything is filled with lightness, tactility, and transparency. The living areas open up to nature through panoramic windows, seamlessly blending with the surrounding environment. The entire interior is organized on a single level, with soft, flowing transitions that create a sense of continuous movement and harmony.

The site's terrain is gently sloped from the house toward the water, preserving the tranquility and seclusion that pervade the area. The entire green space of the site has been transformed into an atrium, around which utility and living spaces, a waterfront recreation area, and a spa are organically arranged. The spa building seems to dissolve into the surrounding environment, thanks to mirrored panels that meld the structure with the smooth surface of the water.
