This small apartment is located in Krakow’s Podgórze. A district that is developing very dynamically and is being developed with new architectural fabric. The immediate surroundings are post-industrial areas transformed into new residential investments, and it is worth mentioning that there is also no shortage of urban greenery there.

In the original plan, the apartment had a small recess for a bed, architect Dawid Konieczny decided to divide the bedroom space with an oval wall, which allowed for the use of a large wardrobe.

The aim of the project was to create a place conducive to relaxation, for this purpose materials were used such as structural plaster in a light beige shade combined with natural veneers in several matching shades. A characteristic element of the apartment is the platform, which
stretches from the kitchen to the end of the apartment. The platform is topped with a seat that serves as a sofa.

The kitchen, or rather its lower part, is made of oiled oak veneer, while the upper part of the cabinets is covered with plaster in the color of the walls.

The architect designed a table with a double top, also made of oiled oak and then dark lacquered. The table is accompanied by classic of design chairs by PIERRE JEANNERET and a lamp coming from the Formakami series by &tradition.

The living room area consists of a sofa built into the platform, combined with The Roly Poly chair and a table made of mango wood (HM).

In front of the above-mentioned relaxation zone, we have an organic wall with a characteristic arch and arched sliding doors, which not only aesthetically fit into the framework of the project, but also save a lot of space in such a small area.

The first zone is the bedroom, which is equipped with a box bed entirely covered with structural plaster in the color of the walls, a bed with three large drawers, in a small space - you can never have too many storage spaces. Opposite the bed, there is a large mirrored wardrobe, which further enlarges the bedroom space. Decorative elements include wall lamps from Casa Gitane and stools from Zara Home.
