The directive for this house was straightforward; transform this dark, aging and dated house into an open, inviting, warm home.

The original house was rather confused and quite disconnected. What caught our attention within the house was its foundational framework, revealing the potential for a substantial transformation through creative spatial planning and a thorough overhaul of its layout and functionality.

Our aim was to open it up to the light, encourage flow between spaces, and highlight certain existing features of the home, seamlessly integrating its past narrative into its revitalised design.
