We were tasked with designing beachfront cabanas for a large hospitality complex in the Middle East. The brief emphasized dynamic, wave-like architecture using timber as the main material for a construction-friendly outcome. Our design features an asymmetrical roof, pitched diagonally and raised at two points, creating a shifting visual effect from different angles. The design clearly separates interior and exterior spaces, with air-conditioning available indoors due to local weather conditions. Each cabana offers a sheltered relaxation area and a shaded outdoor space with sunbeds and hammocks, using materials in sandy seaside tones.
