North Norfolk

Un vecchio fienile in pietra circondato dalla campagna inglese, poco distante un torrente, le saline, il cielo. Siamo sul sentiero del North Norfolk, a pochi minuti dal villaggio di Burnham Market, affacciati sul Mare del Nord. Siamo soprattutto in un edificio in mattoni e selce che negli anni ’70 era stato un fienile e che oggi custodisce vite e storie, le sue e quelle di chi ci abita.
È stato Studio 29 ad occuparsi del progetto e a riprendere il discorso, lì dove era stato interrotto, anni prima. A noi il compito di illuminare quel che era, quel che è.

_____ An old stone barn surrounded by the English countryside, with a stream, the salt marshes, and the sky nearby. We are on the North Norfolk path, just a few minutes from the village of Burnham Market, overlooking the North Sea. We are especially in a brick and flint building that in the 70s was a barn and today holds lives and stories, its own and those of its inhabitants.
Studio 29 took on the project and continued the story where it had been interrupted, years before. It is our task to illuminate what was, and what is.
