The design of the Ethereal Light apartment is sleek and minimalist, featuring natural earthy tones that are slightly desaturated and sober, typical of the wabi-sabi style. The apartment includes 4 rooms: an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, two bedrooms, an office/guest bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a hallway, all within 90 square meters. The rooms are small in size, and the proposed design is minimalist and low-contrast to make the space feel unified and larger.

A specific feature of the apartment is the generous windows and high ceilings; natural light floods the space, hence the name of the project. The beneficiaries wanted an apartment that would induce a state of calm, relaxation, simplicity, and refinement.

In the open-plan space, the simplicity is enhanced by the semi-circular milling detail on the kitchen doors and dining table legs, custom-made to our design, along with the circular coffee tables and light fixtures. Decorative paintwork in a darker shade of greige than the general paintwork highlights certain walls.

In the master bedroom, the area facing the window has a lowered ceiling and a wall recess aligned with it. To turn this into an advantage, we chose to treat the area as a focal point by decorating it, similar to the decorations seen behind the bookcase opposite the recess.

The furniture is simple, in shades of off-white with rounded corners.

The chandelier and sleek black Grok wall lights complement the otherwise minimalist bedroom design.

The little girl's room is decorated in various shades of muted powdery pinks, cherry, and subtle shades of gray-blue and green. Wallpaper from Wall and Deco, featuring an illustration-like graphic reminiscent of Japanese artwork, sets the color palette. The accent color, however, is the burgundy of the metal bed frame, with semicircular details that echo the shapes of the Aromas del Campo wall lights.

The little girl's bathroom is decorated in powdery shades of pink with Spectrum tiles from 41zero42.
