Located within the prestigious Crowne Plaza Hotel in Duqm, Jawhara Cafe offers a distinctive ambiance inspired by the natural allure of crystals. Duqm, a port town on the coastal strip of the Arabian Sea, lies approximately 550 km from Muscat. The cafe's design pays homage to Oman's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors.

The inspiration for the design stems from gemstones—befitting, as "Jawhara" in Arabic means gem, jewel, or precious stone. Omani metalsmiths and jewelers, known for their exquisite skill, often craft pieces inlaid with precious stones, each design reflecting a narrative of Oman's heritage and its craftsmanship passed down through generations. Every detail in the cafe reflects this theme, creating a harmonious, balanced environment. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a breathtaking crystal chandelier, reminiscent of a glistening crystal cluster, with each piece uniquely reflecting light.

The cafe’s seating features upholstery in hues of blue, pink, and green, echoing the colors of various precious stones, while the bar counter, inspired by the deep green elegance of emeralds, serves as a striking focal point. The central bar area is surrounded by different seating arrangements: lounge chairs, dining tables, and private cocoon seating, each designed for comfort and privacy. Built-in monitors allow guests to conduct business meetings with ease in the cocoon seating.

Drawing further inspiration from Omani craftsmanship, the cafe integrates intricate jewelry patterns into the aluminum cladding, a nod to the country’s long-standing tradition of silver jewelry-making.

The cafe’s walls are adorned with soft, neutral tones, serving as a backdrop for the refined decor, while glossy white marble floors enhance the sense of luxury. Mirrors placed between the structural ribs create an illusion of expanded space, adding to the overall elegance and grandeur.
