Villa ELECTRA | Manolo Torres
Interior Concept Milan / Italy / 2024
Designed in 1924 by the renowned architect Piero Portaluppi, Villa Electra stands as a beacon of Milanese elegance. Originally conceived as a serene retreat in the Quadrilatero del Silenzio, this villa was a testament to Portaluppi's ingenuity and vision, blending classical elements with the modernist touches of his era.
Today, nearly a century later, Villa Electra has been redesigned by Manolo Torres Studio, transforming it into an exclusive private club where the past and present coexist in perfect harmony. Under this new vision, the villa’s original spaces come to life with a burst of neon lights, creating an atmosphere that is both enigmatic and vibrant. The arches and halls, which once hosted nobility, now glow with intense colors, inviting visitors to lose themselves in a world where time seems to stand still.
Manolo Torres Studio has honored Portaluppi’s essence, preserving the architectural grandeur while adding a contemporary flair that turns every corner into a work of art. Villa Electra is not just a place; it’s an experience, a sensory journey through history and modernity.
Welcome to Villa Electra, where Milanese nights are filled with magic and mystery under the lights that illuminate the future.
