Contemporary feel, a unique component and individualised customer care were the starting premises of this project.  A minimalist aesthetic was proposed, marked by curved lines and elements and pastel colours that give visual continuity to the entire project.

The salon is divided into three areas, each with an iconic element, curved forms, and a different ceiling height.

Area 1: entrance and transition inside

FUNCTION: to attract the attention of pedestrians.  Waiting area and cash desk.

ICONIC ELEMENT: Illuminated mohican. "No hairstyle is more iconic than the mohican".

The transition between the entrance and the work area is through an arch crowned by the most iconic hairstyle ever: an illuminated mohican. The mohican is a clear focus of attention from the pedestrian street where the salon is located, inviting passers-by to approach and enter the premises.

CURVED SHAPE: Arch.

CEILING HEIGHT: 3.60 m.

Area 2: work area

FUNCTION: cutting, styling and treatment area

ICONIC ELEMENT: Large circular mirrors hanging from the ceiling.

The work area is in the middle of the room, giving the workstations all the prominence. On the sides, empty walls have been backfilled for future art exhibitions. The entrance arch gives a certain privacy to the work area, placing it in the background. 

CURVED SHAPE: mirrors, lighting.

CEILING HEIGHT: 3 m.

Area 3: wet rooms

FUNCTION: the salon's service area, with toilets, office, and backwash units.

ICONIC ELEMENT: Lego bathroom. A Lego-style bathroom.

Lego-style tiles in pastel pink are placed as a contrast to the duck egg green in the rest of the salon. This texture makes the toilet the final iconic element of the project.

CURVED SHAPE: Texture of the tiles, mirror, and washbasin.

CEILING HEIGHT: 2.60 m

A hair salon intentionally open to the street, a showcase that nevertheless keeps the work area private. Curved and iconic elements designed for each space. A place to work and look good.
