Originally, the property consisted solely of a historic house surrounded by ample land. Subsequently, a new residence was constructed for the owners, alongside a guesthouse named Les Rochers, a project that materialized after architect friends immersed themselves in the concept during a weekend visit. Construction unfolded in the subsequent year, and the doors opened to friends and family in 2019.

The architectural design embraces a vernacular essence with a contemporary twist. Derived from traditional architecture, the shape of the house and the use of wood shingles maintain a connection to heritage, while the windows and interior treatments embody a more contemporary aesthetic. The absence of plaster on the walls renders the structure transparent, contributing to the overall design.

Guest feedback emphasizes the dynamic quality of the windows, likening them to ever-changing paintings. Positioned on a hill with minimal surrounding trees, the house offers panoramic views of the sea, road, and neighboring houses. The scenery continually evolves, influenced by the house's orientation, weather conditions, lighting, and the time of day.

Driven by a passion to share the destination and create a comfortable haven for guests, the owners sought to strike a balance between simplicity and luxury. The goal was to provide guests with comfort without overwhelming them with unnecessary elements.

The ambiance exudes a genuine sense of serenity, fostering a slow-paced environment with nature, the beach, and the ocean enveloping the surroundings. While some guests arrive with detailed plans from guidebooks, they often find themselves embracing the relaxed atmosphere, opting to watch the sunset with baguettes and cheese, embodying a truly chilled and laid-back vibe.
