A few years ago, the owners acquired an exceptional property in Gozo's prime location, prompting them to ponder the possibilities of this well-positioned blank canvas. With breathtaking views overlooking the island of Comino and a bustling harbor, the potential for a unique project was evident.

To bring their vision to life, they enlisted the expertise of Chris Briffa, one of Malta's premier architects, to explore design concepts. The initial blank canvas transformed into a Japanese-themed apartment, reflecting the serene atmosphere of Gozo as an island of relaxation and tranquility. The choice aligned perfectly with the surroundings, considering the environment and the captivating views.

The apartment exudes a holistic Japanese aesthetic, creating a one-of-a-kind space in both Gozo and Malta. Every aspect is custom-made, meticulously tailored to fit the apartment seamlessly, from the wooden furnishings to the joinery. Loose items adhere to a high standard, featuring established brands or designer pieces, and the owners have commissioned artworks that adorn the entire apartment. Abundant with plants and natural materials, the space offers a completely novel experience, embodying a sense of serenity and uniqueness.
