When taking on this project of a complete refurbishment, we were faced with an original layout of the apartment that was very compartmentalized, having up to five rooms, along with the kitchen and a bathroom. Even though it had windows in all the individual spaces, in general the apartment was somber.
By creating an open kitchen/dining/living room area and leaving the doorways open to the hall, natural light takes centre stage.
Additionally, hidden sliding doors, when left open, help create an open feeling and allow light to flood in on as much space as possible. It is an aspect that we take into account in our projects and we try to enhance to the fullest extent, since natural light influences our emotional state and our well-being.

As for the finishes used, we look for a combination between the warmth provided by oak wood, along with a series of color accents in warm tones, which in turn provide a certain dynamism to the different environments. The play of textures, through the limestone-type porcelain used in bathrooms and kitchens, the application of clay on walls or the wood itself, make the spaces attractive to the senses and generate relaxed and calm surroundings.
