Aware: Architecture and Senses | 3XN Architects

Aware presents the fundamental ingredients of space: not concrete or steel, but relations between bodies and spaces, between human emotions and spatial atmospheres. Aware encourages us to explore and reflect on our experience in space, delving into the behavioural principles behind architecture and their transformative potential.

Aware asks us to consider the questions buried beneath the surface: what does architecture do? What effect does it have on you, on us, on us all?

The exhibition is born out of 3XN GXN’s belief that architecture shapes behaviour. This is a reminder of the built environment’s lasting effect on how we move, think and feel. Spaces can thrill you, stimulate curiosity, calm you down, or foster connection. We design buildings uniquely matched to each project, and they always seek to combine beauty, functionality, and meaning by putting people at the centre of design. Architecture has the power to transform places, experiences, lives, and cities.
