This house was built on a plot that bordered a forest on its north facade. The approach from the start was to open the house to the south to enhance the brightness of the spaces but also enjoy the forest views from the opposite facade, from all rooms.

The aim was to create two proportionate volumes linked by a formally distinct module reminiscent of the APH transportable house by ÁBATON. The possibility that in the future, when the owners no longer need such a large house, it could be divided into two independent houses was considered.
The architecture's gabled concept tries to reclaim the icon of the traditional house with a single envelope, avoiding the mix of materials and colors, to achieve a sensation of homogeneous volumes. The construction system used is based on a solid wood structure. These are custom-made prefabricated pieces with numerical control that generate a perfect assembly and achieve a very high energy efficiency of the house. From the inside, the space generated by the inclination of the roofs and the structural wood seen in most areas, creates a cozy and human sensation.
