The basic conditions are for a three-storey residential and commercial villa. The current building has a patio of about 311 square meters and three storeys high, which has been abandoned. The problem of mosquitoes in summer and keeping warm in winter cannot be properly solved, and the space cannot be better utilized.
The client wants to upgrade it to a new space with both exhibition and educational functions. In addition to meeting the exhibition function, the existing teaching space and office space are added.
After a comprehensive analysis of the basic data, we decided to use a new atrium space to solve the exhibition and teaching functions. The useless outdoor courtyard is closed, and the skylight is introduced into the entire interior space. The light level decreases from the exhibition space to the educational space, and also makes the whole temperament change from calm to active, from horizontal to vertical.
