Mediterannean Villa Laurus | STUDIO SYNTHESIS architecture & design

Villa “Laurus” is located on the hearth of Boka Kotorska Bay, between Kotor and Herceg Novi, in the proximity of Perast and Risan. Villa has 275 m2 positioned on a plot size 1128 m2 in Strp settlement in the Municipality Kotor. The designer approach in conceptualising the building and the landscaping is a contemporary interpretation of traditional architecture both through principles of positioning buildings and their fitting into the existing terrain and the landscape and from the aspect of materialisation. The location is abundant in autochthonous stone and plants fitted into existing laurel forest. The villa has a private pool, fitted out gardens and terraces on cascades with drywalls. Also, two annexed buildings are positioned in the hinterland of the villa in the laurel forest, as addition to staying outdoors at different periods of the day. There is also option of using two beaches with berths for boats. Authentic location and architecture, good land and water connection, typical Mediterranean atmosphere and panoramic view of the bay make the villa ideal for living and resting.
