LumiPod has landed at the heart of the R55 estate, home to a jewel of international modernist architecture, the Villa Besson, designed by La Grande Motte architect Jean Balladur in 1963.

A new immersive experience signed by LumiPod and Haute Renommee Gallery, offering a privileged access to a unique monument of the 20th century architecture, while staying in a beautifully integrated LumiPod set; LumiPod 5, the minimalist high-end bedroom, and LumiPod Sauna, the outdoor wellness cabin.

Located near Chantilly and its castle, guests will also be able to discover an environment steeped in history and a selection of very good restaurants a few minutes away from the property.

The minimalist construction principle of LumiPod, manufactured entirely in French workshops, incorporates a 120° reversible curved window (a patented innovation developed in partnership with Saint-Gobain), recalling the bold lines of the Villa and the technical prowess employed at the time of its construction.

LumiPod has been designed as a finished product, with attention paid to every detail. A luxury product that, to meet the demands of its upmarket positioning, requires expertise and attention to detail in the choice of fittings and materials.

The main cabinet is made to measure in oak veneer and echoes the floor, also in matt varnished blond oak. The bathroom floor and walls are covered in Cradle-to-Cradle certified Mosa ceramic and mosaic tiles. The king-size bed is suspended on a custom-made slatted base. The company has surrounded itself with renowned partners to equip LumiPod such as JUNG for the electrical equipment, AXOR for the bathroom fittings, Louis Poulsen for the hanging lights etc.

Every decision has been made to offer an experience worthy of the most luxurious hotels, except that it takes place somewhere between inside and outside, in harmony with the surroundings.

By creating this dialogue between the LumiPod and the Villa, two structures that share the same ambition: to link architecture and nature, we are paying tribute to Jean Balladur, as he himself formalised it in his treatise "Le dedans et le dehors", published in the “Revue des Temps Modernes” in 1949.
