Casa Perla Negra, located by the sea amidst a forest of yayos, stands as an exemplary instance of mimetic architecture. This concept involves imitating elements from the natural and cultural surroundings, aiming for a harmonious integration of the building with its environment, reducing environmental impact, and celebrating local culture through innovative design and material use.

Key design elements of the house include:

1.     Modulation and Grid Pattern: The house features an elongated L-shaped layout that facilitates cross ventilation. With a 5-meter modulation, it spatially distributes social areas on the first floor and bedrooms above.

2.     Terrain Adaptation with Piles: Integration with the terrain is achieved through piles, minimizing environmental impact. Laminated wood, resistant to marine corrosion, mimics the verticality and transparency of surrounding tree trunks. Dark colors are used for camouflage, blending the structure with its environment.

3.     Cross Ventilation: The house leverages cross ventilation for creating comfortable social spaces that can open to the outdoors. Bedrooms offer comfort and privacy with cross-ventilation options. Social areas, like the outdoor dining space, are completely open, facilitating a smooth interior-exterior transition.

Additional mimetic elements in the project include:

·       Landscape Integration: The house merges with the surrounding landscape, using black to mimic tree bark and shadow darkness for a camouflage effect.

·       Fusion and Camouflage Details: Design details, such as vertical railings and enclosures, aid in visual integration with the environment.

·       Material and Color: The use of black not only aids in blending with the surroundings but also adds a sober and elegant character to the building.

Casa Perla Negra thus stands out not just for its environmentally integrated aesthetics but also for its functionality and efficiency, inspired by the inherent intelligence of natural systems, enhancing the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Casa Perla Negra, ubicada frente al mar y enclavada entre un bosque de yayos, es un ejemplo destacado de mimetismo en arquitectura. Este concepto se basa en la imitación de elementos del entorno natural y cultural, buscando la integración armoniosa del edificio en su entorno, minimizando el impacto ambiental y celebrando la cultura local a través de la innovación en diseño y uso de materiales.

Los elementos de diseño de la casa incluyen:

1.     Modulación y Trama Reticular: La casa presenta una planta alargada en forma de L que facilita la ventilación transversal. Con una modulación de 5 metros, distribuye espacialmente las áreas sociales en la primera planta y las habitaciones en la superior.

2.     Adaptación al Terreno con Pilotes: Se integra al terreno mediante pilotes para minimizar el impacto ambiental. Se utiliza madera laminada resistente a la corrosión marina, imitando la verticalidad y transparencia de los troncos de árboles circundantes. Los colores oscuros se emplean para el camuflaje, integrando la estructura con el entorno.

3.     Ventilación Cruzada: La casa aprovecha la ventilación cruzada para crear espacios sociales confortables que pueden abrirse al exterior. Las habitaciones ofrecen confort y privacidad con opciones de ventilación cruzada. Los espacios sociales, como el comedor exterior, están completamente abiertos, facilitando una transición fluida entre interiores y exteriores.

Elementos adicionales de mimetismo en el proyecto incluyen:

·       Integración al Paisaje: La casa se fusiona con el paisaje circundante, utilizando el color negro para imitar la corteza de los árboles y la oscuridad de la sombra, creando un efecto de camuflaje.

·       Detalles de Fusión y Camuflaje: Los detalles en el diseño, como barandas y cerramientos verticales, contribuyen a la integración visual con el entorno.

·       Material y Color: El uso del color negro no solo facilita la fusión con el entorno, sino que también añade un carácter sobrio y elegante al edificio.

Casa Perla Negra, por lo tanto, no solo destaca por su estética integrada con el entorno, sino también por su funcionalidad y eficiencia, inspiradas en la inteligencia inherente a los sistemas naturales, realzando la relación entre los espacios interiores y exteriores.
