Loma Sagrada | Salagnac Arquitectos

"Loma Sagrada House was a property devastated by livestock farming that, thanks to design strategies, regenerated during the construction process. The structures on stilts and minimal earth movement allowed vegetation to grow even during construction. The main building is a residence located on the southern wall of the hill, sheltered from the strong winds that blow in summer. We created a space with forest and gardens that reduce the temperature of the moderate breeze that crosses the house, allowing all spaces to be used without air conditioning. The slope of the land for this building is 35 degrees, and a triangular structure was conceptualized that uses the terrain as one of its sides, generating in the cross-section only two points of foundation and support on the ground. In the longitudinal direction, the support points are aligned and respond to a modulation that organizes the entire building and made the production and installation of the 100% wooden structure efficient.

At the top of the hill with the best views is the pool and recreation area, these are modular wooden structures that follow the line of the main building. In addition, the project includes a guard house, parking, and storage. The landscaping unified the natural regeneration with areas of permaculture and native trees, radically transforming the property. 95% of the material is plantation wood, used in structures, floors, walls, ceilings, and furniture. Construction with wood absorbs CO2, has no electromagnetic radiation, regulates ambient humidity, and generates sensations of comfort and tranquility that contribute to the health of people and the environment. The use of metal and concrete was restricted as much as possible, reducing the impact these materials have on the environment.

Alongside passive strategies of natural ventilation, solar protection, thermal insulation, and control of the breeze temperature in the gardens, low electromagnetic radiation electrical systems, flicker-free lighting, water reuse, solar energy, and chemical-free water purification for drinking and swimming were installed. Loma Sagrada connects with nature, integrating biophilia from its structural concept to the spatial quality of its interiors. The project is an example of environmental sustainability in harmony with human health."

Loma Sagrada era una propiedad devastada por la ganadería que gracias a las estrategias de diseño se regeneró durante el proceso constructivo. Las estructuras sobre pilotes y el mínimo movimiento de tierra permitió que la vegetación creciera inclusive durante la construcción.

El edificio principal es una vivienda que se ubicó en la pared sur de la loma protegiéndose de los fuertes vientos que azotan en verano, creamos un espacio de bosque y jardines que disminuye la temperatura de la brisa moderada que cruza la vivienda, permitiendo que todos los espacios se puedan utilizar sin aire acondicionado. La pendiente del terreno para este edificio es de 35 grados, se conceptualizó una estructura triangular que utiliza el terreno como uno de sus lados, generando en la sección transversal, únicamente dos puntos de cimentación y apoyo en el terreno. En el sentido en longitudinal, los puntos de apoyo están alineados y responden a una modulación que organiza todo el edificio e hizo eficaz la producción e instalación de la estructura 100% de madera.

En lo alto de la loma con las mejores vistas está el área de piscina y recreación, estas son estructuras de madera modulares que siguen la línea del edificio principal. Además, el proyecto incluye casa de guarda, parqueo y bodegas. 

El paisajismo unificó la regeneración natural con zonas de permacultura y árboles nativos, transformando de forma radical la propiedad.

Un 95% del material es madera de plantación, utilizada en estructuras, pisos, paredes, cielos y mobiliario. La construcción con madera absorbe CO2, no tiene radiación electromagnética, regula la humedad ambiental y genera sensaciones de confort y tranquilidad que aportan a la salud de personas y medio ambiente. El uso de metal y concreto se restringió al máximo, reduciendo el impacto que estos materiales tienen en el ambiente.

Junto a estrategias pasivas de ventilación natural, protección solar, aislamiento térmico y control de la temperatura de la brisa en los jardines, se instalaron sistemas eléctricos de baja radiación electromagnética, iluminación sin parpadeo, reutilización de aguas, energía solar y purificación de agua de consumo y piscina sin químicos.

Loma Sagrada conecta con la naturaleza, integra la biofilia desde su concepto estructural hasta la calidad espacial de sus interiores, el proyecto es un ejemplo de sostenibilidad ambiental en armonía con la salud humana.
