Ronchi Villa

The restoration intervention of Villa Ceragioli in Ronchi engages with the original project by architects Aldo Rossi and Leonardo Ferrari, aiming to bring to light the distinctive features of this iconic building. The focus of the intervention lies in key elements of the villa, such as the large corner windows and the finishes on the facades. It is a delicate and careful project that seeks to faithfully reproduce the original design of these elements. In the perspective of introducing the villa, the first work of the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning architect, an open house installation has also been created. This installation reveals the compositional and theoretical foundations of the original project. In this spatial reinterpretation, the use of logs obtained from a fallen pine tree serves as the means of interaction between the villa and the surrounding pine grove.
