he main  idea  was based on the term "adaptability".  Gallery transformable space  was created to be adapted for diverse artists needs. This concept is rooted in the Japanese architectural movement “Metabolism” of the mid-20th century.

Modern digital art can be expressed in various physical forms, so it was pivotal  to create a space that could accommodate various formats of installations, works of authors and exhibition scenarios. Thus, the project zoning was based on a “Clean” empty room - an exhibition hall with movable screens. The structure and mechanism of the screen system allows you to move the screens and rotate them 360 degrees; their location and rotation angle can be changed depending on need.

The main metal surface of the exhibition hall is a multifunctional wall - a transformer. It consists of four mobile partitions suspended from the ceiling, which designed as media walls.

Materials and colors used in the design are metal, concrete, white, purple and gray. Each of the rotating screens is covered with a composite  material that imitates a brushed metal surface. Metal planes add contrast and dynamics to the space due to glare and reflections. In addition to digital art, the gallery also presents physical works, so white and gray colors are used in the decoration of the walls as a universal background for their placement. Purple is chosen due to the VS Gallery brand identity, it works as a color accent  used for functional zoning.
