Since this restaurant’s history by chef Ricard Camarena began to write itself in 2015 it has been a lively space in constant evolution. Once again and based on the original project, a new narrative has been developed through a pair of subtle but powerful gestures: the use of curtains and colour.

To make the most of the previous configuration, the tables’ distribution was maintained but the curtains have been the ones transforming and reorganising the space. Located in five transversal sections of the premises, incorporating this textile element allows the creation of different natural reserves or opening up completely to host large-format events. Its path is marked by a system of L-shaped guides that helps parking them on the sides of the premises, taking advantage of the large pillars of its structure. In essence, the new guest material has made it possible to achieve a lot with very little: improve the atmosphere and acoustics while gaining flexibility.

To favour the restaurant’s new energy, the green colour has also been chosen as a reference to the orchard that defines Ricard's cuisine. Used both in curtains and coverings, upholstered sound-absorbing panels have been installed in this same colour on some walls and slats on the ceiling to hide the general lighting. Two vertical gardens located at opposite ends of the room contribute to the design’s theatricality and the light effects through the textile leave a desired halo of mystery in the environment.
