The Barn

I recently completed a photographic reportage for the architect behind an art collector's visionary project: a rural house and event space designed for an array of cultural activities including concerts, dinners, and readings. This architectural marvel, known as 'The Barn', elegantly perches on a steep hill slope. Its large modern windows offer breathtaking views of a nearby castle, creating a striking contrast between ancient shapes and contemporary architectural language. The centerpiece is the main hall, an expansive open space dominated by a central fireplace, surrounded by areas for seating and musical instruments. A staircase ascends to the private sleeping quarters of the owner, seamlessly blending private refuge with artistic expression.
