In an idyllic setting, we discover the majestic Mas la Parra estate, a 16th-century gem located in Vic, evoking the charm of history and nature. The ambitious project aimed to transform this rustic estate, which lay in ruins, into a restaurant with its own evocative narrative.

To achieve this goal, we embarked on a renovation that sought to respect the original architectural essence of the house while introducing rustic elements and contemporary touches that enhance its unique beauty and make its transformation into a functional restaurant possible.

The entrance door serves as a threshold to the past, maintaining the ancient lowered arch portal that has witnessed centuries of history. Upon entering the main hall, we are greeted by ribbed vault ceilings, not only of architectural value but also as silent witnesses to time. These ceilings are supported by elegant wooden beams, which we have adorned with an exquisite blend of flowers and dried leaves, providing a classic-rustic touch that respects and enhances the very essence of what a Mas represents.

Every detail has been carefully selected to preserve authenticity while adding a contemporary air that harmoniously blends with the rich history of the place. This restaurant is not just a space to enjoy gastronomy but a journey through time that invites diners to immerse themselves in the unique experience of Mas la Parra. With each corner, we seek not only to offer a feast for the palate but also a visual and sensory celebration of the timeless beauty of this historic treasure.

En un paraje idílico, descubrimos la majestuosa finca Mas la Parra, una joya del siglo XVI ubicada en Vic, que evoca el encanto de la historia y la naturaleza. El ambicioso proyecto consistía en transformar esta finca rústica, que yacía en ruinas, en un restaurante con una narrativa propia y evocadora.

Para lograr este objetivo, nos embarcamos en una renovación que buscaba respetar la esencia arquitectónica original de la casa, mientras introducimos elementos rústicos y guiños contemporáneos que realzan su belleza única e hicieran posible su transformación en un restaurante funcional.

La puerta de entrada sirve como umbral hacia el pasado, manteniendo el antiguo portal de arco rebajado que ha presenciado siglos de historia. Al adentrarse en la sala principal, nos reciben techos de bóveda de crucería, no solo de valor arquitectónico, sino también como testigos silenciosos del tiempo. Estos techos se sostienen con elegantes vigas de madera, que hemos decorado con una exquisita mezcla de flores y hojas secas, brindando un toque clásico-rústico que respeta y realza la esencia misma de lo que representa un Mas.
Cada detalle ha sido cuidadosamente seleccionado para preservar la autenticidad y, al mismo tiempo, añadir un aire contemporáneo que se fusiona armónicamente con la rica historia del lugar. Este restaurante no es solo un espacio para disfrutar de la gastronomía, sino un viaje en el tiempo que invita a los comensales a sumergirse en la experiencia única de Mas la Parra. Con cada rincón, buscamos no solo ofrecer un festín para el paladar, sino también una celebración visual y sensorial de la belleza atemporal de este tesoro histórico.
