RELAX IN THE HEART OF HISTORY

The ambitious idea of realizing a tower building in the heart of Rome, has aroused several reflections in the design group such us:
-Rome, open air museum,
-Rome, complex urban stratification,
-Rome, the splendor of the classical period.
We faced the challenge, for which we propose an architecture that tries to represent Rome in its time: past, present and future.
Our time travel starts with an architectural composition where classical period’s and especially the column formal memory occurs with several “blocks” elliptic geometry marked by the pillars of the glass facade that symbolize the grooves.
The handling of volumes, functional to building’s intended use, allow creating both privileged directions of landscape’s observation and at the same time open air spaces such us hanging gardens, terraces and pools, all to stay and relax appreciating here and now the city of Rome.
Ideally, the future appears in the overall height of the construction: 100 metres, that compared to existent urban centre represent a sort of lighthouse (also for the presence of Tiber river), which oversees the territory and act as city “navigation guide”.
The constant through time is the purpose of a SPA (salus per aquam): this project grasps the essence of it maintaining the link between psychophysical wellness and place to socialize in.
