The refurbishment of this apartment in Estoril involved a comprehensive redesign, focusing on practical improvements and modern aesthetics. The key areas addressed included the bathrooms, kitchen, and terrace, with an emphasis on optimizing circulation, maximizing natural light, and incorporating noble materials like wood, glass, and stone.

Since the initial phase, the goal was to create a more functional layout by removing barriers and establishing a direct connection between the interior and the terrace. Strategically placed openings and wide glass doors were added to introduce more natural light.

Noble materials such as wood for flooring and furniture, glass elements, and stone accents in the kitchen and bathrooms were chosen for their durability and contemporary appeal.

The kitchen underwent significant changes, incorporating modern appliances and a more efficient layout. A laundry area was also added to enhance practicality, and special attention was given to providing ample storage throughout the apartment. The bedroom configuration was adjusted, transforming the previous layout of one bedroom plus two ensuite bedrooms into three ensuite bedrooms for improved privacy and functionality.

The terrace was redesigned to be a more welcoming outdoor space, with comfortable furniture and landscaping. Features like pergolas or awnings were considered to provide shade while maintaining a connection with the surrounding sea views and public garden.

Harmony with the surroundings was a key consideration throughout the refurbishment. Design elements seamlessly blended with the sea views and the nearby public garden. Carefully selected lighting fixtures, artwork, and decorative elements added the final touches, enhancing the overall ambiance.

In conclusion, the refurbished apartment in Estoril now offers practical improvements and a contemporary aesthetic, including thoughtful storage solutions. The redesign focused on optimizing functionality, introducing modern conveniences, and creating a more illuminated, efficient, and comfortable living space.
