Stowaway House occupies a compact, steeply sloped waterfront plot, offering breathtaking vistas of Eagle Harbor, Blakely Harbor, and the distant Mt. Ranier. Utilizing the former residence's foundation, the home establishes a landscaped courtyard as its focal point. The expansive Living Room extends across the courtyard, anchored by a concrete pier housing the fireplaces. Prefabricated wood ribs, reminiscent of ship hulls from Blakely Harbor's 1800s shipyards, form a framing structure. Accessible via a bridge spanning the courtyard garden below, the steel-clad front door pivots open. The Primary Bedroom gracefully extends twelve feet beyond, hovering over an angled deck that echoes the silhouette of the 1960s-era home deck it replaced. The home unfolds over four levels, cascading down to a beach-level boat house.
