Cuatro Cielos | VOID Studio

Cuatro Cielos is a residential development comprising four distinctive units, elegantly distributed across three volumes and two stories. This arrangement gives rise to spaces that embrace, intersect, and entwine, delicately preserving the intimacy and mystique of each residence. Upon first encounter, the space appears enigmatic, yet its tranquil and serene ambiance immediately beckons exploration.

Nestled in Tulum, the materials employed—honest, natural, and indigenous—create a sensory effect on residents, deepening their connection with the locale and anchoring the building to its surroundings with utmost respect. Amidst a tapestry of textures, there is one that is paramount and becomes a guiding thread for the whole. Perceptible from any vantage point within any residence—ever-changing throughout the day and consistently spectacular: the sky. Hence, the aptly named Cuatro Cielos (Four Heavens).

​Cuatro Cielos es un desarrollo residencial de cuatro unidades únicas, repartidas en tres volúmenes y dos plantas. Esta distribución genera espacios que se abrazan, se cruzan, se entrelazan, cuidando la intimidad y el misterio de cada departamento. De primera impresión el espacio aparece indescifrable, pero, inmediatamente, su atmósfera tranquila y serena invita a descubrirlo.Ubicado en Tulum, los materiales –francos, naturales y endémicos– generan un efecto sensorial en los habitantes que incrementa su conexión con el lugar y buscan arraigar el edificio al entorno respetuosamente.

Entre todas las texturas, hay una principal, una que se percibe desde cualquier punto y en cualquiera de los departamentos; cambiante a lo largo del día y espectacular en todo momento: el cielo. De ahí el nombre, Cuatro Cielos.
