A SPACE ABOUT (ASA), the interior and product design studio based in Barcelona, collaborates with the prestigious Menorcan firm VIDAL & VIDAL to breathe life into a new chapter in the identity of its stores. With over 30 years of experience, VIDAL & VIDAL has entrusted the creative vision of A SPACE ABOUT, led by Laura Blanch and Noa Massanet, to create a space capable of reflecting the authentic values of the brand: craftsmanship, quality, and timelessness.

The first project of this collaboration materializes in the new VIDAL & VIDAL store at Terminal 1 of the Barcelona Airport, a strategic location that seeks to captivate travelers with the essence and authenticity of the jewelry crafted in the workspace in Menorca, the headquarters of VIDAL & VIDAL.

The 50m2 space stands as a corner that invites customers to immerse themselves in the universe of VIDAL & VIDAL. The jewelry is presented on simple furniture that evokes the essence of the traditional workspace of the brand. The resulting atmosphere is serene, fresh, and bright, with cream tones and touches of color that pay homage to the nature of the island of Menorca. Laura Blanch and Noa Massanet, founders of A SPACE ABOUT, share their vision of the project: "Our main goal has been to create an identity that reflects the personality, essence, and origin of the brand. We have projected the 'Menorcan atelier' where the jewelry is created with care and dedication, and we have accompanied the space with colors, shapes, and materials that remind us of Menorca, inviting customers to discover its pieces and feel part of the VIDAL & VIDAL family."

The reinterpretation of the original workspace is evident in the display of the jewelry, where the furniture recalls the artisanal workspaces. Wooden trays around the perimeter of the store, just as the jewelry is stored in the original workshop in Menorca, a central table with metal drawers reminiscent of the typical worktables of the workshop, and a central panel on the wall for hanging images simulating the boards where tools are hung in traditional workspaces, are elements that create a cozy and familiar environment. This design reflects the closeness and honesty of the brand, positioning it uniquely to connect with both new generations and its regular customers.

A SPACE ABOUT (ASA), el estudio de diseño de interiores y producto con sede en Barcelona, colabora con la prestigiosa firma menorquina VIDAL & VIDAL para dar vida a un nuevo capítulo en la identidad de sus tiendas. Con más de 30 años de experiencia, VIDAL & VIDAL ha confiado en la visión creativa de A SPACE ABOUT, liderado por Laura Blanch y Noa Massanet, para crear un espacio capaz de reflejar los auténticos valores de la marca: artesanía, calidad y atemporalidad.

El primer proyecto de esta colaboración se materializa en la nueva tienda de VIDAL & VIDAL en la Terminal 1 del aeropuerto de Barcelona, un lugar estratégico que busca cautivar a los viajeros con la esencia y autenticidad de las joyas elaboradas en el taller de Menorca, sede central de VIDAL & VIDAL.

NOTA DE PRENSA A SPACE ABOUT x VIDAL & VIDAL El espacio, de 50m2, se erige como un rincón que invita a los clientes a sumergirse en el universo de VIDAL & VIDAL. Las joyas se presentan en muebles sencillos que evocan la esencia del taller tradicional de la firma. El ambiente resultante es sereno, fresco y luminoso, con tonalidades crema y toques de color que rinden homenaje a la naturaleza de la isla de Menorca.

Laura Blanch y Noa Massanet, fundadoras de A SPACE ABOUT, comparten su visión del proyecto: "Nuestro objetivo principal ha sido crear una identidad que refleje la personalidad, esencia y origen de la firma. Hemos proyectado el ‘taller menorquín’, donde se crean las joyas con cuidado y dedicación, y hemos acompañado al espacio con colores, formas y materiales que nos recuerdan a Menorca, invitando a los clientes a descubrir sus piezas y a sentirse parte de la familia VIDAL & VIDAL."

La reinterpretación del taller se hace evidente en la exposición de las joyas, donde los muebles rememoran los espacios de trabajo artesanales. Bandejas de madera en el perímetro del local tal y como se guardan las joyas en el taller original de Menorca, una mesa central con cajones metálicos que remiten a las mesas de trabajo típicas del taller, y un panel central en la pared para colgar imágenes simulando los tableros donde se cuelgan las herramientas en los talleres tradicionales, son elementos que crean un entorno acogedor y familiar. Este diseño refleja la cercanía y honestidad de la marca, posicionándola de manera única para conectarse tanto con las nuevas generaciones como con sus clientes habituales.
